Still in good shape after all these years
We were surprised to see so many buildings remaining
The mill still stands
After a long absense, we revisited the Aurora area in 2011. We entered via a steep, rocky road on the southeast side of town. Most of the buildings we saw in the 70s and 80s are still standing, including the mill. There's active mining between these structures that you cannot pass through. To visit the cemetery, you must drive out of the area and re-enter on the west side.
